Exercising The Belly! Let’s Get Slimmed Down

Most people want to slim his or her midsection, but nobody knows what belly fat exercises really help you to do it. Other than the food we eat, there are many ways to help you toss out that spare tire you seemingly can’t get rid of.

One of the best fat busting exercise to do in order to help you slim down is belly dancing. It is useful for burning fat but also extremely fun to do. In one belly dancing workout session alone, you can burn up to 500 calories! Make sure to keep hydrated throughout the entire workout.

Here’s my favorite! A great belly busting workout is swimming. Swimming is great during the summer months – especially because it not only keeps you hydrated, but also lets you do many exercises without having the weight of your body keeping you down. 5 Ways To Improve Posture When Sitting At A Desk

 

Most folks know that our posture is very important for the future health of our backs, but when you work at an office every day, it is quite easy to fall into bad habits.  Here are five quick fixes for improving posture when you sit at a desk.

  •  1) Support Your Lower Back

You can reduce the strain on your back with lower back support. Meaning you should use an adjustable chair so that you can find the perfect height and tilt to support your lower back. If you can’t immediately get your hands on a better chair, use a cushion to increase support in that area.

  •  2) Change the Position of Your Screen

Think about adjusting  your computer screen so that the top is basically level with your eyes. This will help you naturally sit better as you look at the screen throughout the day. Just What Is A Yeast Infection?

If you were recently diagnosed, you may be thinking, “Just what is a yeast infection?”  This common condition affects women of all ages – and even some men.  But because it can be found in a private area you may be less apt to discuss it and ask your questions out loud.

Yeast is something that lives in your body all the time.  You actually need it to be healthy.  It’s found throughout your body.  When you’re healthy all goes well.  The yeast is kept in check by the bacteria, and other cells inside the body.

When things get a little out of whack, yeast tends to become overgrown and can cause problems.  Things like taking too many antibiotics, steroids, stress, and hormonal fluctuations from the menstrual cycle can cause yeast to multiply enough to cause an infection.  Did you know that pregnancy and birth control pills can also trigger yeast infections in some women.
