AARP

AARP has been a reliable company for people 50 and over for many years.  I joined as soon as I could and have never regretted doing so.  You have to be a member of AARP in order to get AARP Supplemental Insurance.  There are other supplemental companies out there that do a good job i.e. Blue-Cross, Blue-Shield,  Humana, and others.

One question you might have is, “What is the difference between MediGap Insurance and Supplemental Insurance?”  The answer to that question is:  Any Supplemental Insurance that works with Medicare to pay the difference between what Medicare pays (typically 80%) and the remainder of your billing is also called a MediGap Insurance.  So they are basically one in the same.
